NEWS - A-TACS FG Gear

Spring 2012 will see the arrival of the first new products to be offered in the new A-TACS FG Camo pattern variant. Propper will begin offering their classic ACU cut garments in the new pattern soon to be followed by additional product offerings. Additionally, several other nylon gear makers will begin offering a wide range of supporting products as well. We will be making announcements regarding specific products, release dates and availability as more information becomes available in early 2012.



A-TACS FG Camo Utilizes numerous shades of green sampled directly from a variety of forested and transitional terrain elements combined with various shades of earth, A-TACS FG Camo was developed to be effective in a wide range of temperate environments. As with the original A-TACS Camo pattern, the organic pixels in the micro patterns are grouped into larger, more defined "macro" shapes creating larger more defined patterns. The larger organic shapes and strategically placed shadow elements within the macro pattern help to create a unique three-dimensional effect never before seen in a tactical concealment system of this kind.



Ever since the launch of the original A-TACS Camo Pattern, people have been asking for a green variant of the pattern. The easy answer would have been to create a simple re-color of the existing pattern and release it as a green variant. Taking that approach may have been easier and faster however, it would not have been the correct way to create an effective temperate climate pattern. The characteristic environmental elements and shapes found in greener, more temperate settings needed to be addressed.
The answer was found in the creation of an entirely new pattern based on the A-TACS Camo's unique "pattern within a pattern" concept. The addition of simulated depth was also necessary in order to add visual disruption to further break up the human silhouette.

Additionally, with the release of the A-TACS FG Camo pattern, the original A-TACS Camo pattern will be known as A-TACS AU (Arid/Urban) Camo.



A-TACS Camo has officially joined as a Safety Grant Sponsor in the Spirit of Blue Campaign.

Five non-profit organizations actively supporting the law enforcement community have already teamed up with the Spirit of Blue Foundation for the 2011 holiday campaign that launched in October. Those organizations - The National Troopers Coalition, Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association, National Sheriff's Association, Chicago Police Memorial Foundation and the Jeffrey S. Parola Foundation - represent roughly 125,000 officers, deputies and agents nationwide.



As partners they are promoting the sale of the Spirit of Blue's blue ribbon holiday wreath honoring and benefitting the law enforcement community. Consumers who purchase the product during the Campaign will be allowed to select which non-profit they would like to see benefitted from the sale and the Foundation will donate a portion of the proceeds accordingly. At the same time, consumers will be asked to nominate a law enforcement agency that they would like to be considered to receive a safety grant award. At the end of the Campaign, the Spirit of Blue Safety Grant Program randomly selects nominated law enforcement agencies to receive a safety grant award. The safety grants will be redeemable exclusively through the consortium of Safety Grant Partners made up of law enforcement equipment brands.



Preliminary statistics through November 2011 released by the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, in conjunction with Concerns of Police Survivors, revealed the number of U.S. law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty rose 14% percent over the same period in 2010. Firearm-related deaths reached 55, an increase of 25% from the same period in 2010. The reality of these statistics and the increasing number of underfunded law enforcement agencies across the country fueled the safety grant initiative.



The Spirit of Blue Foundation, along with A-TACS, is asking consumers to 'get in the Spirit of Blue' this holiday season by purchasing the Spirit of Blue Wreath and giving back to the law enforcement community. The wreaths are available for purchase through December 19th and winners of safety grants will be announced in early February 2012. l'A-TACS è già fuori in tonalità grigiastro (desert-urban?) e poi è in uscita sta specie di foliage. Il pattern secondo me è molto fico e valido, al momento il problema è che le mimetiche in commercio al pubblico della propper sembrano essere di pessima qualita sai come tessuti che cuciture. IN pratica comprarle ora non conviene, paghi la "novità" e ti porti a casa un prodotto scadente

quanto l'hai pagata? come tessuto sembra affidabile o è carta stagnola?

Per prendere la mia ho fatto i salti mortali ho pagato il completo 80€ +30$ di sped + 18 di dogana e l'ho aspettato 2/3 mesi

La mia è identica alla multicam stesso taglio stesse cuciture i velcri son un po' diversi ma in poche parole prendi una multicam della propper "quelle buone " cambiaci pattern ed hai l'A-TACS

Occio che si fàceva una fatica bestia a trovar le taglie + comuni
